Condor Airlines takes flight from MIA to Frankfurt with year-round service

Just in time for the peak spring and summer travel seasons, Condor Airlines landed at its newest U.S. gateway on March 26.  Miami International Airport welcomed the arrival of Condor flight #2044 from Frankfurt (FRA) at 7:15 p.m. and the departure of DE flight #2045 to Frankfurt at 9:10 p.m., arriving in FRA the next morning at 11:40 a.m. The non-stop flight will be operated three days a week (Tuesday, Friday, Saturday) on Condor’s next-generation Airbus A330neo aircraft with its eye-catching striped livery to the airline’s Frankfurt hub with easy connections to more than 100 destinations throughout Europe and beyond.  Miami joins Condor’s growing list of North American gateways that have gone from seasonal-only service to year-round service.

We are thrilled that Condor has chosen Miami International Airport for its only service in the state of Florida and its newest route in the U.S. We proudly welcome their three weekly flights from Frankfurt, which provide another appealing travel option between Miami-Dade County and Germany.

Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava

The fuel-efficient Airbus A330-900neo aircraft reduces fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by 20 percent, consuming just half a gallon of fuel per passenger per 62 miles flown. It is the first aircraft in the world already certified for the regulatory reduction in CO2 emissions, which will be required by 2028, and that subsequently will reduce travelers’ environmental footprint, according to Condor. Condor’s A330neo accommodates 310 passengers with four Prime Seats, 26 seats in Business Class, 64 seats in Premium Economy Class, and 216 seats in Economy Class.

It is with great pleasure that we introduce Condor and our new A330neo product into the Sunshine State.  The demand for our new non-stop out of MIA into the heart of Europe has been so strong that we are pleased to extend what was originally to be a seasonal route into a year-round operation.  This provides both European-bound American travelers as well as German vacationers coming to South Florida with an affordable and convenient year-round flight that will also have a positive impact on the local Miami economy.

Peter Gerber, CEO of Condor.

Condor’s A330neo Business Class offers fully lie-flat seats in a 1-2-1 configuration with direct aisle access for all guests. The seats conveniently convert to a bed with a length of 78” and a width of 19”. Guests have access to the latest movies, TV series, podcasts, and games, all accessible on a 17.3” screen in 4K mode, with touchscreen and remote-control options.  The Prime Seats in the first row of the Business Class provide guests with added space large enough to accommodate two guests if they wish to dine together and an extra-large, 24-inch entertainment screen. The “Prime Seats” feature exclusive in-flight amenities such as a premium travel kit, inflight pajamas, and a premium snack basket.
