MIA and Delta Air Lines celebrate Delta Sky Club expansion

On April 9, Miami-Dade County officials joined Delta Air Lines executives to unveil the newly expanded Delta Sky Club at Miami International Airport. The 4,000-square-foot expansion increased the Club’s capacity by over 50% by adding seating for 100 more guests and a renovated open dining area. Located just past the security checkpoint inside MIA’s Concourse H, the expanded Sky Club now can serve a total of 300 customers.

I proudly congratulate Delta Air Lines on their MIA Sky Club expansion, marking 79 years at our airport. As the second busiest airline at MIA, Delta served 3.3 million travelers last year. We cherish their partnership and commitment to a brighter future in Miami-Dade County.

Delta Sky Club Members can access the lounge with same-day ticketed air travel on Delta or its partner airlines. A single-visit day pass is available for purchase with a same-day boarding pass on Delta Air Lines or its partner airlines. For more details, visit the Delta Sky Club website. The Delta Sky Club at MIA is open daily from 4:45 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The lounge expansion marks a significant milestone for Delta as we continue to prioritize our customers' needs and preferences. By introducing new routes and enhancing our facilities, we aim to set new standards for travelers in South Florida, offering them unparalleled comfort, convenience, and connectivity. I’m grateful to MDAD Director & CEO Ralph Cutié and his team for their partnership and commitment to elevating the customer experience at MIA and for helping make the expansion possible.

Last year, Upgraded Points ranked MIA’s passenger lounges the best among U.S. airports. The study ranked 50 of the nation's largest airports based on factors such as available amenities, dining options, lounge saturation, customer ratings, and operating hours.

MIA offers more flights to Latin America and the Caribbean than any other U.S. airport and is also the leading economic engine for Miami-Dade County and the state of Florida, generating business revenue of $31.9 billion and approximately 60 percent of all international visitors to Florida annually.
