MIA celebrates Haitian Heritage Month with folklore dance performance for travelers
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the official naming of Little Haiti in Miami-Dade County and the last week of Haitian Heritage Month, Miami International Airport hosted a performance by the Nancy St. Léger NSL Dance Ensemble, a collective dedicated to preserving authentic Haitian folkloric dance. Traditional Haitian refreshments were also served to attendees in MIA’s Central Terminal area.
