Voices of football legends greet MIA passengers before Super Bowl

Former Miami Dolphins stars lend welcome messages to airport's PA system

(MIAMI, January 13, 2020) – To help welcome passengers to Miami International Airport in the weeks leading up to Super Bowl LIV, the airport has recruited three former All-Pros to its Voices of MIA roster: Miami Dolphins legends Dan Marino, Nat Moore and Jason Taylor.

Through Super Bowl Sunday, travelers and Super Bowl ticketholders arriving for the game will hear rotating welcome messages from the Miami Dolphins icons via MIA’s public address system, in celebration of Miami-Dade County’s record 11th Super Bowl.

Launched last August, the Voices of MIA program has previously featured local celebrities such as: Miami Heat stars Alonzo Mourning and Udonis Haslem; Grammy-winning recording artist Willy Chirino; singer and telenovela star Jencarlos Canela; Grammy-winning composer and producer Emilio Estefan; Chef Adrianne Calvo; R&B singer Teenear; and radio personality DJ Laz.

“As the entry point for the majority of visitors coming to Super Bowl LIV, MIA will be welcoming passengers to Miami-Dade County in a number of special ways, one of which is our Voices of MIA program,” said Lester Sola, MIA Director and CEO. “We appreciate Dan Marino, Nat Moore and Jason Taylor for helping us get our passengers and employees excited about the big game, and all of our celebrity partners for giving visitors a taste of our warm and diverse community while they travel through MIA.”
